Actually, nothing destroys the fun of riding a motorcycle faster than a side car.

Well, maybe for the person on the cycle, but I bet the person in the side car is having fun. :D

Not exactly your STANDARD motorcycle and side car combination.

Whats the point of a motorcycle and sidecar? You may as well have a small car. You lose all the advantages of bike riding with a stupid sidecar, and you look a tit riding one.
I haven't seen one in the UK for years.

our police still use them. Its the only way to ride in the snow.
BTW they remove them in the spring.

There's not much difference between a side car and that huge, lumbering and clumsy pan!:p

Now, the R6....:D

Isn’t it the children of the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s that are now in power and creating a nanny state? ;)

What about children of the 80’s?

We had to put up with parents who got their liberal parenting skills from their parents in the 60’s.

We had to attempt to learn right from wrong ourselves as people were becoming too afraid of showing us. Your generation says bring back the cane, but who took it away?

We had to grow up with smoking parents.

We had to grow up in the decade where recreational drugs switched from dope to cocaine and heroine.

Our school milk was withdrawn thanks to a child of the 20’s.

We had to grow up with Aids thanks to the 60’s (not me personally..).

Our social education at school taught us casual sex was ok, every stranger wanted to abduct us and what cocaine was and what it felt like to take it.

In fact it was in the 80’s that childhood started to lose its’ innocence.

Liberals from the 60’s decided that educating us about life’s vices would save us from them rather than show us how/where/why to do them.

Children’s TV featured hard core drug abuse and underage pregnancy.

We were aggressively targeted by advertisers who gained unprecedented access to children’s minds through cheap TV’s and parents using them as babysitters.

These advertisers were telling us that things that were bad for us were cool.

This world we grew up in was run by children of the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.

Rant over. :D

Bring it on... ;)

No, well maybe the seventies ;)

I think the children of the 40s are either retired or dead.
The children of the 50s are retired or rapidly approaching retirement.
The children of the 60s have the jobs the children of the 50s had before retirement.
The children of the 70s have the jobs the children of the 60s had before they got the jobs the children of the 50s had before they retired.

In 2010 add 10 years to all of the numbers above.

As a child of the forties I can assure you of 2 things

1. I am not dead :)

2. I am not retired. Although I have cut down to only doing two full time jobs now plus a some Access work as well

But is that because you're living in exile ??:D
No. I am in voluntary exile to bring enlightenment to the large colony just to the south of my native land. At least thats what the English used to say while exploiting their colonies.

And the children of last decade have no jobs.
If I did something I was told not to (or vica versa) I got belted, not endless counselling and therapy sessions
And I'm sure no lawsuits came out of those beatings either, did they? I was treated the same, and I knew when my father kicked the sense into me.
We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.
Amen to that Rich!

These are just the G8 leaders. I haven't included business tycoons, who in a capitalist society hold alot of power aswell.

Aside from Bush and Brown I see nothing wrong with the rest on the list:confused:

You implied that it was only people born in the 70's that are currently in power.

Anyway, nothing wrong with the rest on the list?!

Putin - trying to recreate the cold war.

Merkel - Trying to force crazy euro-bureaucracy on the rest of Europe.

Sarkozy - As above, plus he's French.

:D
