Um. No. Just that there is no objective evidence to disprove either one. That implies nothing about whether one or the other is correct or not. And I think some muslims would argue with the depiction of their faith in those terms. A few christians I know would also.

Some system is required for order in a society which insists upon crowding its members into small spaces and expecting them to co-exist peacefully. What is your problem with faith? You keep pushing this as if it was relevant to the discussion.

Some people believe in God and have faith. Great. Some people don't believe in God or even a god but some of them do believe in science. You say this means they have faith. Maybe, maybe not. For my part I believe in some scientific theories but if it is revised in light of better evidence then I may change my position. People with faith in religions tend to stick with them regardless.

FAITH is what the discussion is about. The only difference is what you have faith in.

You need a lot of faith.

For the areas that are being discussed on this thread you need faith. What direct evidence do you have. Your opinions are completely based on the word of others.....and as you can see Hawking (and others) are wandering around in the dark, which they openly admit. BUT, these are your sources.

Of course Dawkins is a classic with evolution. So dogmatic while having to admit he has no clue of how life started. How can someone be so dogmatic without knowing how the game started. How the game starts can have a huge influence on the way the game unfolds. But Alisa and others have faith in Dawkins....quoted throughout this thread.

If Dawkins knew how life started then perhaps he could tackle lizard to snake. Instead he is restricted to "half an eye is better than no eye" which is true. Problem with the lizard-snake is the lizard already has top level jaws and it has to go without useful jaws for millions of years while it gets to the snakes jaw structure plus the other requirements that allow for the snake's jaws structure to be used.

With someone like Dawkins endorsing evolution you need some heavy duty faith
