What is the correct grammar

Odd, I would never have taken a Scot to be an expert on English :D
You underestimate us:) Remember we learn English as a foreign language so our grammar tends to be better than our more southerly friends.:D

You can't even spell the word correctly, it's chinky and funnily enough it's a Friday, sooooooooooooooo:cool:
Oh and it's been part of the lingo where I live for over 40yrs so:p

Try doing a spell check on it sometime. :D

When grammar definately counts I usually just type it in MS Word and use the F7 to spell and grammar check. The only reason I would mention that there are instances that grammar does not count is the fact that just spelling usually gets the best of me and if you threw grammar in there also it would take me forever to type anything.

I make attempts to promote stimulating vigor and help you feel filled with beans!

It never was. Language is not, despite the pedants who wish it were, static. It developed from the first slightly-more-complex-than-a-grunt uttered by our distant ancestors, and has never stood still since.

I think you missed the point. These 'pedants' are actually observing the fact that the diversity of language is being broken down not enhanced by language such as text-speak.

George Orwells 'newsspeak' is eerily prophetic don't you think?
