Hi All,

I am trying to create report with a subreport embedded in it. When i run the subreport on it's own it's fine. 1 page (or however many it takes to display the records).

However, when i embed it into another report it duplicates each record so that i have ,say, 88 pages if there are 88 records.

Anyone know whats happening??

Thanks.

If the main report has 88 records then it would appear that you have put the subreport on the DETAILS section and not in the Group Header or Footer which is where you will probably want it.

Thats cracked it, Thanks. Never realised you couldn't put a supreport in the detail.

I never said that. There are plenty of times you can use a subreport in the details section. It all depends on what your data structure is, what it is you want to display, and what groupings you have going on.
