Art, thanks for your time on this, I manged to copy and paste your code and follow you instructions, But....
Got a problem..
Well I was going to attach an image of the text as it was so long,
First off the line "Set frm = Forms!2" came up red as soon as I pasted the code.
Secondly in form view the form containing the ListBox returned the error that the expsression I had put into the event did not contain the automation object `Me`.
