I would like a paticular field to be locked once the user has entered data and moved to the next field, but I would only want this field to be lock on that paticular record so the field needs to be unlocked for other records to be entered. Also I will need a way of being able to unlock the field...

Sorry forgot to add that I would only want the data displayed in the subfom on that form (Customer ID linked).

Is there a way of creating a button that will export data to excel, but only data that I specify off several different forms? I have a form with a subform and I would like to put a button that will export the data from the subform but include fields from other forms. Thanks for your help! :)

Just thought, (apologise I am new to this) where abouts would I put this code? Can I click on the drop down list in form design view and select onUpdate from the properties of the list then add it there?
