Thanks that worked but the "onclick" worked better for some reason. When I opened the form the [fieldname] was visable, then I clicked and unclicked the field would go away and then come back. using the onclick,,, it wasnt on my form until i clicked the box..... thanks I better start...

Basic user here,, I know I have seen what i am looking for on someone elses database but for the life of me I cant figure it out... I would like for a field to open upon the click of a check box... ie... check box: [attrite], if I check the box I would like the field [date] to open in order...
