Doh. Nevermind, I worked it out as soon as I posted the question. Just checked and user-A doesn't have write access to the directory the database is in. Obvious!

We have a database that is shared on the network. When user-A opens the database, it locks user-B out, but if user-B opens the database first, user-A can open it at the same time. I've been investigating this and it looks like the .ldb file isn't being created for user-A, or is being created...

In the properties for your listbox, there is an option under 'Other' called 'Multi Select' which should be set to 'Simple'. Have you tried this?

I'm not very good at the code side of it, but couldn't you do this with a macro. Create a macro that closes the form, then opens the audit form in Add data mode. Then assign the macro to the on click of your audit form button. If this isn't what you're looking for i'm sure someone else can...

Francios, You could try something like this. 1. Go to DOS prompt 2. go to the root of D: 3. type : tree>C:\cdtree.txt 4. exit DOS 5. Open C:\cdtree.txt in notepad or something 6. Copy & Paste into the memo box in access.
