Export Report to .rtf - Random Blank Spaces

I found a work around that is good enough for now. I export the report as an .rtf. Then open the .rtf in Word and do a Find and Replace on the Page Breaks, then manually scan the report and delete the large carriage return. It only seems to happen once in each report. This is more labor...

    Page Breaks for Groups

I am a little confused on how this works. Should I have a separate Tab control for each subreport (so 9 separate Tab controls) with the Name of the Tab control the same as the Name of the subreport. Or do I have a Tab control with each page as a separate subreport? "In each page you put...

    Page Breaks for Groups

Interesting. I didn't think about it that way. I will give it a try. And if you have time to work out a sample, that would be awesome. Thanks!

    Page Breaks for Groups

Here is a stripped down version of my dbase. Choose I SiteID from the dropdown and hit Preview Combined Report. This is the setup that is closest to what I want. I set the ForceNewPage to Before for each Group Header and then used Code to determine whether or not the Group Header should be...

    Page Breaks for Groups

So if I hide the subform instead of the group, where do I specify when to insert a page break or Force New Page? I inserted a page break at the end of each subform and then changed the code to hide the subform unless the associated box was checked in the table. This solves the blank page...

Export Report to .rtf - Random Blank Spaces

I will see what I can do. I will have to remove all of the information and strip down the database. It is for a project where all the information has to be kept confidential. Where do I upload it?

Export Report to .rtf - Random Blank Spaces

I reduced all of my tables to only 3 records, there are no duplicates, no blank fields. The query only includes the variables listed on the report. I also got rid of my headers and footers for the sake of troubleshooting. So the report is literally 5 Memo fields one after the other. The...

    Page Breaks for Groups

I tried using the Force New Page property on the groups, but it only works some of the time. I have an If Then statement which determines whether each group is displayed or not. Could this be causing the problem? If Me.AttachmentsContinuationSheet = True Then Me.GroupHeader6.Visible...

Export Report to .rtf - Random Blank Spaces

Yes, the Can Grow and Can Shrink properties are set to YES for the Control and for the section the control is in. The first page of the .rtf is formatted correctly, but after that there are single carriage returns that create large gaps and page breaks are inserted in the wrong places.

    Page Breaks for Groups

I have tried putting them as tightly together as possible. But it only displays one way or the other, with blank pages, or cuts off the report.

Yes, it is a memo field. Is that the problem?

Export Report to .rtf - Random Blank Spaces

I am exporting a very simple Report as an .rtf. When I open it in Word, the text is 12pt and the carriage returns are 13.5 pt Font. There are also really large gaps in the text. If I delete one of these gaps it breaks all of the following paragraphs into separate lines with a carriage return...

    Page Breaks for Groups

I have created a combined report that displays 7 subreports. Each subreport is contained within a GroupHeader and displayed only if the name of the report has been checked in the table. I want each subreport to display on a separate page. I tried putting a page break after the subreport in...
