this is bad naming on my behalf. I am using the term customer to identify the customer for the packing, at the same time this customer is the supplier of the fruit. My customer field is a look up of supplierID. Caould the names be giving me this problem? both fields do in fact point to SupplierID

with out seeing the form it is hard to guess what you problem is. Have you tried ensuring the field is set to visible in the header properties (right click on header bar)? are the values displayed the same each time? i.e. title of page etc? EDIT [cheap option]cant you just set 'visible' to...

issue resolved. restored all mwd to original locations and got a copy to launch with the user login screen. Successfully logged in as user 'Administrator' and granted full access to any existing group while i sort things out. Again thanks
