No, we are populating the entries possibly up to a week after they have been made and therefore we need to put the date of delivery, not the date of entry into the system. Your possibly right about it being in the parent form.

Your right about the Month, it can be calculated from the date. Im a bit of a novice with Access, I have found the After update event against the date delivered, however I'm not sure what code to type in to make it work. i did attach the database as requested on my last reply

not sure if this is allowed, but i attached the zipped database....the incorrect table is 'tblvenueleaflets' I need the DrivervenueID to be the actual Venue Name and the AttractionLeafletID to be the actual Leaflet Name.....the problem is Im not quite sure how to acheive this
