If you could post a snapshot of the design view of your report it would probably help to identify your problem.

I think this will do: Under the On Format event of the Detail section put in the codes: If DesignValue is null then Detail.Visible = false, else Detail.visible = true.

Just curious. Why do you want to open multiple instance of a report instead of putting all records in one report with each person's record on a new page?
