Riots in the USA - just an excuse to let off energy?

I thought it would be fun and also a little bit naughty to resurrect this thread since we have new riots now in L.A.

True enough, Isaac. We DO have riots that have been claimed as being "non-violent" - though the looting, car-window breaking, and burning vehicles make you wonder about the definition of "non-violent."

I reviewed the thread and realized it included certain details and omitted certain other details regarding George Floyd, whose death triggered the riots in the thread title.

George Floyd was arrested due to passing counterfeit money. When he was arrested, it was later determined that he had illicit drugs on his person, but somehow he managed to put those drugs in his mouth. We will never know what he thought, but the drugs were poorly wrapped and he ingested drugs that contained fentanyl. He had a heart condition and there is now a considerable furor over whether Officer Chauvin was the primary cause of death or whether cardiac failure due to a drug overdose was the primary cause of death. His family commissioned a separate medical exam but the original autopsy apparently detected the drugs in his system.

Chauvin's actions look realllllly bad on video. Doesn't make him guilty of murder.

I do think we need a new dictionary. We already have several official English language dictionaries which mostly agree on definitions. The new one can be called the Politically Correct Liberal Dictionary and it needs to include little flaps over the definitions of certain words because those words will need to be changed depending on context. When liberals are rioting and stoning innocent passers by and burning police cars and breaking windows of public buildings and looting stores, those riots ae "mostly peaceful". But if the crowd is conservative and waving American flags, it is an insurrection.

Yah ... I watched about 2 hours of footage of it on News Nation the first day it happened. It was definitely quite violent. a LOT of throwing projectiles at police - like not just 1 or 2, but 1 or 2 every few seconds from the entire crowd, it seemed. Anyone who tells you it was peaceful is talking nonsense.

Seems that the Democrats continue to endlessly spew the same old lying lines. Today:

Funny how the people throwing rocks and jumping on cop cars are all wearing masks:poop::poop::poop: Do they not want to be identified? Why doesn't the lame stream media say anything about their masks? Hypocrisy reigns:poop::poop::poop:
