Never heard of the guy. Wikipedia states he was on American Idol which is the type of program I avoid like the plague

Makes me think of a Mumford and Sons / Coldplay mashup.... Good referencing in the lyrics though when he sang "Van Halen turned into Van Hagar" I thought he said '"vinegar" which I guess is still somewhat accurate

Finally got to see this (English) band live in concert last November in NZ, though I've been a fan since the 80's.
