Hey y'all, I have a database that generates a lot of reports based on parameter queries. However, I'd like to add a search box to the reports so that the user doesn't have to keep returning to the home navigation form in order to open a new report. I've put some leg work in to get it to work...

Thanks, that's pretty far beyond my current skillset and there's not much time left in my contract before I hand the database over to my employers, so I'll work on more functional things. Adjusting the box was really just for vanity's sake.

I have a number of forms and reports opened by control buttons on the home screen of my databse. Each one of them has a field in the linked query with a [Enter xxx:] criteria. I'm just wondering if anyone has found a way to adjust the default design of the parameter value dialogue box that opens...

Hey y'all! You know this box: Does anybody know if there's a way to get the "Enter Parameter Va... ?" text banner at the top of the box to not appear? Or change the text there? Best- Mike

Welp, I made a backup and did a Compact & Repair and it didn't solve the issue. BUT the conditional formatting works perfectly on the backup copy I made. Additionally a code that mysteriously stopped working properly on the database works perfectly on the backup. I don't know how it fixed...

Thanks, attached.....buuuuuuut the conditional formatting works just fine in the sample database???? Something must be awry elsewhere in my database to create this problem. And now to make matters worse the conditional formatting isnt' working in either of my reports in my complete database.

I'm afraid I'm not sure how to do that, the database is too large for me to attach to the message here. If you are willing to let me know how I might share a sample database I'd be happy to oblige.

This has really stumped me.... I have two identical reports, "School Search by Name" and "School Search by Address". The only difference between them is the parameters used to load the reports. Three fields in each report are conditionally formatted to appear the same colour as the background...
