    Solved Expand range

I think the fact that there is an empty column in between your data causes Excel to just ignore the other column. You would need to manually select the columns and then click sort

Sorry - yes the one referenced. Has proven a saviour from much frustration.

Modal userform prevents use of other workbooks-even in new application instance

Interesting - I've been using this technique to start a new Excel instance for almost a year now as I found that if I opened a spreadsheet to run a macro and I already had other sheets open with their own macros, even though they weren't being referenced, the macro I wanted to run would run up...

Easy - The dogs represent your remaining rational braincells who every now and then get a glimpse of reality and are desperate to escape the prison that you have them in. Poor things, better to just put them down before their paws turn into bloodied stumps...

Solved Daily errors due to 'Unrecognized database format'

Thanks Colin, certainly seems that way. Have restored from backup now, running OK and looking at plan B which is doing something else other than creating and deleting temporary tables.

Solved Daily errors due to 'Unrecognized database format'

No - I was still in test mode and hadn't even had the chance to do that before I got this error. Would it cause an issue if it was accessed during this time..?

Solved Daily errors due to 'Unrecognized database format'

Well that didn't work - I've now got an error stating that 'ID is not an index in this table' and it seems quite irrecoverable. I will have to get our IS guys to restore from backup and re-think what to do with this.

Solved Daily errors due to 'Unrecognized database format'

Hey guys, I was just wondering if there is any update in regards to this issue as it's driving me crazy. I have a simple db (using O365 on Win10) that really only has 2 users, me being one of them. I import text files into it regularly and part of that process creates a temporary table...

wrong English grammar in format compatibility mismatch warning

I think that the much maligned 'foreign-born engineer at microsoft who learned English as a second language' is correct. Example 'My tie and my shirt don't match' I wouldn't say 'My tie and my shirt doesn't match', I would say 'My tie doesn't match my shirt' In this case if you wanted to...
