This is a multi select, I don't think that you can set it to be required. I don't want the user to click on the run button before he/she selects a value from the multiselect because they will get an error if they have not choosen anything!!!!!

Kodo, The reason is for totaling purpose, I have table that gets created by a qry, every time I run the qry the table overwrites itself, for totaling purpose I need every time to add .5 value to the table. I really need to do it this way and not anyother way.
