Is your app client/server with the tables somewhere you can get access to them? If so you could change your db slightly in that when a user logs into the db you write their user name and time of log in to a table (tblUserLog). Then when they exit simple run some delete sql to remove...
Yep - search the forum for "remove users", "force users out","exit users",etc... There have been numerous posts on this topic... as an example of the power of forum searching click here

What your trying to do is simple enough with the Followyperlink method. Here is an example based on the information you provided:
Put this in the "On_Click" event:
Dim strHyperlink as String
If isNull(RegIDNum) then
msgbox "You must enter a Reg ID first!", vbCritical +...
I was gonna put this in the moderators forum but I wasn't sure of the "visibility" of that forum and I wanted to get some feedback from other members so I'll post it here and if Jon/Mile want to move it with a link to it from here that would be swell :)
My Question:
Would it be possible, or...
Your getting this result because you are supposed to :D Autonumbers are continuous in that, if you delete a record, the number will not be replaced only skipped... i.e.
You have records:
1
2
3
4
5
You delete records 2 and 5... then add a new record and you have this in your table:
1
3
4
6...
Are project number and project name part of a composite key? you shouldn't store the same data in both tables if they are not as you could/will run into problems down the road...I'd create a structure with a projects table (tblProjects) that hold project name, number etc... then have another...
Just out of curiousity.. why all the fuss to create a personal progress bar? why not just use the ActiveX progress bar control? I hear all the time of people saying its buggy or that it doesn't work for them but I have used it time and time again without any problems what-so-ever... Plus - all...
Please excuse Jon... he knows not what he says....:D
truth be told Jon is a recovering Access-a-holic and is currently enrolled in a Microsoft 12 step program...

1) You lost me on this one.... sorry... Why don't you just format the email the way you want it to look and then import it as we discussed above?
2) If its cutting down the field that leaves me to believe that the field where your storing the email addy is not long enough - try lengthing the...
Instead of hard coding in all of the email addresses you may want to pull these from a table instead... Reason I say this is what happens when you need to change an address/ add a new one/ remove someone/ etc... ??? You now have to make changes to the whole db. By looping through a table you...
1) You can put as much text as you want in the body of the email. Simple replace the section "E-mail message" with your text. Now if this text is standardized (the same everytime) you can hard code it in the code or you can pull the information from a form or table... the choice is up to...
You could just hide the taskbars on startup and then use your DoCmd.Maximize function. Go to the the Tools -- Startup menu and uncheck allow menus, allow toolbars, etc... This way next time you open the app the toolbars will be hidden. There is also some code available in this forum posted by...
Have you tried importing all of your current objects in Access into a new db? You may have a corrupt mdb file causing the crash...
If this and the suggestion your following from the manufacturer fails I'd try reinstalling Office and see if that takes care of the problem...
HTH,
Kev
1) where are you trying to add more text? In the title/body?
2) Your problem may be the result of spaces in your table's field names trying bracketing things like: qry E-mail to look like [qry E-mail]
3) To add an attachement you add this to the SendObject Statement. See your current...
Hey Jon - thought you'd like that!
Works good (besides the fact that we state employees work 40hrs a week for 38hrs pay and have to bank 2 hours a week to be used in the future thanks to budget cuts (with more to come tomorrow by the way))... but enough of my rant on that subject :D
IT wise -...
Short answer is that I don't think there was any/enough error handling nor programming considered with those keys. I think you better off to use he macro solution to trap keystrokes - then write your own event when the keystoke it triggered...
just my 2 cents but I hear your frustration...
Funger - can you wait a day on this?
Reason I ask as I was just re-reading a VBA programming book working on a few solutions and I came across a section detailing how, by use of a macro (and only a macro) you can set any key or combination of keys to preform tasks in Access. There were some...
