Thanks! Changed the record source to the new data. HOWEVER, now there are no records in the form. Do I now need to go thru each item and change using the field list? Or is there another way to do it? A better way to now update each seperate item in the form? Don't know if it matters, but...

Update OK.....I have new information I found that in one of my tables I had a partial record started. It was "stuck" in the the new record of that table. I got rid of that and the star and arrow at the bottem went black. So now....I can add to all the tables...but I checked the queries...

Well...I think it is a linked table. I made copies of all the orginials and stuck all the raw data in a folder and then created the datatbase from there. All the data comes from 3 Excel tables and 1 other Access database

Yip....It does on fact open up to a new blank record with no data...but I can't type into it?!?!?!?!

I double checked and I do have the Form Property set to Yes on DATA ENTRY and below that on the Record Locks it is NO Plus all of the fields are unlocked as well. No OBVIOUS reason for the lock.
