    Module Error

Also no change. This is really depressing me a lot.:( Thanks though

    Module Error

    No change  .

    Module Error

another translation is unabiguous. I think it would mean something like that it is not the only value or table that contains the function (something like that). I tried this and it gives the same error. undefined function. Thanks, P.S.: I assumed you meant CalCom and not CalcCom

    Module Error

I have tried what you gave me and now I get the error that the name is not unequivocal (see earlier post). I have created this in a new module with a different name and I removed the original module but nothing changed. Thanks anyway

    Module Error

I'll try that. The inputbox is just a temporary solution and this will be changed into a quite large iif function (see my topic in general). Thanks

    Module Error

Thanks but between the time that I posted the code and now, I had already changed this. Any other suggestions maybe? Thanks

    Module Error

I have tried that before, but this didn't make a difference. I am also sure that it is in a standard module and not in any other form. Any other suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks

    Autonumber question

Which formula would you use because I'm trying to do the same thing (with a date and autonumber) but it is not giving me the correct results?

    Autonumber reset

I will have to do this soon as well. Is there really no easier way (I'm using 2000)? Or did Microsoft forget to put it in.

    Module Error

Thanks, I'll try although I don't really know VB but I'll figure it out as I go along. That box will go away anyways with the iif function.

    Module Error

I don't get an error anymore. Both answer are also the same so this seems to be working. Thanks

    IIF statements

I will try this (if the module starts working ;) ). So, you would change the complete iif function (iif([Broker Company/Branch].[Company Number]=Any other Company Number) to what you just gave me? Just in case this doesn't work, I'll give you the path I followed to get to this function. I was...

    Module Error

I have tried this, but no change. This is starting to become quite frustating. But please, let the ideas come because I'm sure the correct way of doing this is out there somewhere (I just haven't found it yet;) )

    IIF statements

I looked at the InStr function but what would I fill in for start, expr1 and expr2 because these are not constant. The use will have to enter the Broker number in a pop-up box and than it will show this. Also, it shouldn't compare broker number but company/Branch numbers and these consist out of...

    Box Issues

Thanks guys. I had seen that article on the Microsoft website and I even started doing the example of northwind, but lost track half way through because I have the Dutch version of Access and this article is not available (at least not to my knowledge and I have done a search at Microsoft) in...

    Module Error

Thank you for the tip but unfortunately, this didn't make a difference in the result. I read somewhere that the module cannot have the same name as the function, so I changed the name and now I get a different error: The name is not unequivocal, in query expression CalCom([Products...

Scolling mouse wheel and VB code

I have a Compaq mouse and I still have the same problem. Maybe there is a different problem somewhere or maybe it can be solved by some service pack or update (as usual ;) )
  18. Fastone

    IIF statements

Thanks, I try that. The iif statement: Every iif function has only 3 parts. 1. iif([Individual Policy Holders].[Date of first policy]=Date(), 2. iif([Broker Company/Branch].[Company Number]=Any other Company Number, 3. iff([Broker and Marketer Information].[Function]=Broker,15%,5%),20%)...

    IIF statements

I need to do some calculations. These calculations will depend from several things. Firstly, it depends if the business is new or already exsiting. New business is business which has been achieved that current month. Than, it depends on weather or not the broker worked alone or if he/she also...

Scolling mouse wheel and VB code

I tested it, I have Windows ME and Access 2000 and the scroll doesn't work either. Have you installed a specific mouse or just a general one? Maybe that has something to do with it. Don't know but it is strange.
