I have two problems/questions:

The first one:
Can anybody give me a step by step guide on how to created linked boxes (or whatever you call them). With this I mean, in box one you choose the Product, in the second box you choose the plan, and so forth. I want to let the DB pre-select, so if you choose product 1, you can only choose from plan a and b, c is excluded. This should be done for four consecutive boxes.

The second one:
I want to make a combo box which will show the name of the company it the user chooses the company ID in the previous filed (just so they can compare and not make a mistake).
It would be better for the user if they could select the company name and the number would show but I don't know if that is possible.

I know that a lot of information can be found on this forum but I did a search and after reading all the information, the little knowledge I had combined with the readings has confused me even more (if that was possible :D ).

Thanks in advance.

You will find the answer to question 1 here .

The answer to question 2 is to create a combo box using the Wizard and you should be able to get what you want. You can show the ID and the Name but when you leave the combo box the ID (if it is the bound field) will be the only thing showing, not the ID and the Name....

Thanks guys.
I had seen that article on the Microsoft website and I even started doing the example of northwind, but lost track half way through because I have the Dutch version of Access and this article is not available (at least not to my knowledge and I have done a search at Microsoft) in Dutch so it kinda confused me :o .
I'll look at it again and try and work trough it, if it doesn't work out, i'll let you know.

Also, if I use this IIF(IsNull([Forms]![frmSelector]![cboCategorySelect]), [CategoryID],[Forms]![frmSelector]![cboCategorySelect]) given by Microsoft, I get a syntax error :D
