Filter Combo As You Type (Prefix)

Also for me, using my other technique, I was passing the search value to the rowsource so every other combo box that I already had a value for would start to filter out visually. Nothing was deleted but you wouldn't see the different values until you left the current combo box.

Filter Combo As You Type (Prefix)

@MajP - Thanks. Updated file attached for others to reference. The fix was the update the Public Function on the Form Open to make each fayt unique and then update the Private Function to match.

Filter Combo As You Type (Prefix)

@zeroaccess Do you see anything wrong in the attached demo database (post 1) that might shed light as to why it's not working?

The actual list is much larger. It's just a test dataset to help me get the code right and working.

Filter Combo As You Type (Prefix)

@MajP See attached file. I'm using your code for the FAYT and am having issues implementing for my prefix column. I've gotten it to work on the Combo7 (showing the organizations), so I do know that it works. Issues: 1) When I start typing in Combo5 it doesn't open to display the filtered...

Audit Changes New Record Missing Primary Key

Closer. DELETE isn't picking up the value for RecordID.

Audit Changes New Record Missing Primary Key

    1) Make a change to the Taskers for an Event. 2) The change are showing in the tblAuditTrail. I'm expecting that all of the FormName values to be the subform in this case (t_Taskers subform) and not the main form. Conversely, if I made a change to the Event's Title, I'd expect the value to be...

Audit Changes New Record Missing Primary Key

Added in a NewValue field to the tblAuditTrail. Now capturing the new value. How to address the NEW and DELETED records not showing the right form that the value was changed on?

Audit Changes New Record Missing Primary Key

Looking at the latest version. What is the auto field doing in the t_Taskers? FormName needs to reflect the form that the value was changed on. Currently it's picking up the main form for NEW and DELETE records. EDIT needs to pick up the original value before the change was made.

Audit Changes New Record Missing Primary Key

Better that it's not failing. Issues with the current state. NEW and DELETE actions on the taskers subform need to say that it was changed on that form. Currently it says that the f_Event main form had a new or deleted event. The primary key # isn't getting populated in the RecordID field...

Audit Changes New Record Missing Primary Key

Taskauto is the primary key and is an autonumber in the t_Taskers table. Based on what I'm tracking, to get the tblAuditTrail to populate you call the primary key in the call function. Call AuditChanges("taskauto", "DELETE") Call AuditChanges("taskauto", "NEW") Call AuditChanges("taskauto"...

Audit Changes New Record Missing Primary Key

Add a new record to the tasks on the right side of the form. Delete a record on the tasks. Edit a record on the tasks. In all 3 cases, tAuditTrail won't get updated. In the top 2 cases there will also be an error.

    TreeView RightClick Trapping Backwards?

The cursor knows that the top left is 0,0 and bottom right is 729,580. I had another user with Office 2019 try it out and they have the same issue as I. Maybe it's a focus issue? In the below screen capture, I clicked on the bottom record. I'm noticing a light dashed outline showing up on the...

When I click on the L3 icon - X: 53 Y: 47. When I click at the same line level but all the way to the right of the box X:717 Y:47. Appears for me that the X: point where things change is at X=559.

    TreeView RightClick Trapping Backwards?

I'm using Access 2019, so it might be a versioning issue. The drag and drop feature works. The buttons on the right work. It's just the fricking right click that isn't.

    TreeView RightClick Trapping Backwards?

Switched out the mouse and no difference. I seems that on my computer the right click on node functions happen when I'm right of the below red line and the off node happens to the left of the red line. The on node actions from the mouse click only action the top node.
