    Baseball Price guide sheet

When displaying formulas, not seeing the logic/formulas/options you used? I know I must be missing something, but not sure what it is ?

    Baseball Price guide sheet

This looks like it would work. Will study it later - gone for most of today. Highlighted totals for each column possible?

    Baseball Price guide sheet

Wonder if this is possible in Excel 2002: Say I have 50 rows of rare baseball cards. Each row has up to 10 column gradings, from 1 to 10, and each column has a different graded price entered. I would like another column which SELECTS which 1 of the 10 columns is chosen as the current grading...

Too Complex for 2002 SQL ?

So "memory" is the thing. Just defies the logic of Midrange and Mainframe database Systems.

Too Complex for 2002 SQL ?

I know I was close when trying yesterday and that it could be done, and I'm sure this would do it. It is just too hard for me to grasp.

Too Complex for 2002 SQL ?

I know, but what "allows" that - does not seem logical. It's 3 separate queries?

Too Complex for 2002 SQL ?

What "feature" is it in Access that allows me to just run the final query rather than all 3 of them in order to get the latest update?

Too Complex for 2002 SQL ?

You know, I thought that would be the answer. Break it down into multiple queries. I thank you much for awesome reply.

Too Complex for 2002 SQL ?

How would I do this? Table with these 2 fields: Year Week 2016 51 2016 51 2016 52 2016 52 2016 52 I want a SQL to select the highest year, then the highest month in that highest year. Then, if week < 52, add 1 to week, ELSE if the week is eq 52, add 1 to the highest year and set week...

I may be over thinking this?

I really appreciate that you are the main resource for me on this one! I know your suggestion is following the normalization rules to the tee. In this case, I am just going to store all the data in the one table and go from there. I dropped the validation and just carry the values and show a...

I may be over thinking this?

    Boy, how frustrating. I copied my table, applied this: [samevalue]=([costpercase]=[amountpercase]*[costpereach]) which put a value of "No" in appropriate places in that samevalue field. Now, i try to do exactly the same in the original table and all i get is blanks!! ;

I may be over thinking this?

The multiply sure seems to get past that error. I may retry again at the Table level. Sure seems like this should be a bit easier to get!

I may be over thinking this?

SELECT item, costpereach, costpercase, amountpercase FROM gmcostmaster WHERE (nz(costpereach,0)<>(nz(costpercase,0)/nz(amountpercase,0))); Now trying sql, but get overflow ?

I may be over thinking this?

Both suggested solutions seemed to work, it was just that this was indeed a bad idea to begin with, and not really helpful at the Table level.

I may be over thinking this?

Thanks, but that still does not do it ... "expression typed incorrectly or too complex ....." I am using Access 2002.

I may be over thinking this?

Table has fields costpereach, costpercase, and amountpercase. I want to add a [calc] text field which says either "Yes" or "No", and is based on the above 3 fields. So, at the table level, I use the following validation rule...

Hdr with detail records, auto record advance

Will do. After I enter the Unit price (macro is "entries/update to Materials table", the cursor actually jumps backwards to the taxable field ? vba may need cleanup? I was also concerned that Delete a detail record was not recomputing properly?

Hdr with detail records, auto record advance

When I am entering records into the detail sub file, and I fill in the final entry field for a NEW detail record, how do I get the form to ADVANCE to the next entry line. Right now, it only shows the "dirty" indicator on the line I have just entered, and I have to reclick on the dirty indicator...
