Wonder if this is possible in Excel 2002:

Say I have 50 rows of rare baseball cards.

Each row has up to 10 column gradings, from 1 to 10, and each column has a different graded price entered.

I would like another column which SELECTS which 1 of the 10 columns is chosen as the current grading for the card in that row.

I would like the 1-10 column cell row chosen to be somehow highlighted or shaded ...

And finally, I would like a TOTAL row for each of the 1-10 columns at the bottom which would ONLY total up each of the Shaded cells in each of the 1-10 columns.

Maybe there is a totally better solution?

Should I use Access?

This looks like it would work. Will study it later - gone for most of today. Highlighted totals for each column possible?

When displaying formulas, not seeing the logic/formulas/options you used? I know I must be missing something, but not sure what it is ?
