    When you place your tab control on the form you need to drag it out to cover the area of the form that will be changed as you click through the tabs.

    How about as part of the save button you run an append query (prior to closing the first form) that appends the refrence number into the other table. Then open the second form, and use OpenArg to get the from to open at the last record.

    You might want to put a dialog box in the code, to confirm that your user has selected the value he intended, prior to locking up the Combo Box.

    If I've understood your question correctly; all You need to do, is put a logical test (based on the value of the Combo Box) in the after update event for the Combo Box. Then assign a value to the text box or unlock it to allow data entry depending on the result.

    Try this use acFormatRTF if you want your report in Rich text format. Just make sure that the query that builds the report picks up [EmailAdd], [CCEmailAdd], [BCCEmailAdd] ,[SEmailSub],& [EmailMess] If you have multiple email recipients you will need to concatinate them first.

    OK I've disovered how to refer to the subform, but there is still something wrong with the code, which looks like this; I'm now getting an "Object doesn't support this property or method" Arrrrrgh Help.
