"Program sending email on your behalf"

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I see the reasons for it. However, it takes away virtually all VBA-advantages. If you need to automate outlook, you will probably need to send email automatically, and this makes it impossible. Brilliant! Anyone else know what to do? Fuga.

"Program sending email on your behalf"

Hi, I have an automated emailing function in a db. On an XP machine with outlook XP or Outlook 2003, the message; "Program is sending email on your behalf..." appears, making the emailing function totally useless of course. I noticed there was a similar thread on this topic, but I did not...

automating internet explorer with office XP.

Yes, I was afraid of that. What I do now is I use the "ldownload" function to save the source as a text file. It works ok, but when it comes to some pages that have paswords etc, the "ldownload" function only retrieves data that can be view when not logged in. This is true even if you in fact...

automating internet explorer with office XP.

Thanks for your reply. I see your point. Unfortunately, I´m not very good att internet programming (I tried once to make a connection between an access db and frontpage (supposed to be easy) and I failed, so you get the idea...) However, if you can download the information manually with the...

automating internet explorer with office XP.

I´m thinking of starting to use office XP for a small system I have. My question is: Is office XP more compatible with internet explorer in terms of VBA automating? I have had to work around internet explorer quite a lot in office 97, and I haven´t been able to do what I want. Fuga.

    Accessing an "access denied" file.

Hi all, I don´t know if this can be done at all. When a process of some kind is using a file, you can´t access it in anyway, can you? The reason is we have an application that locks files it is supposed to go to work on (it is a printer, merging two or more pages together before printing)...

    Missing reference...not missing!?

I´ve sent a db to a friend who´s using XP. I use win98. Of course, the date() function does not work. I´ve had this problem before and as I recall there was a reference missing. Only this time, there isn´t. I´ve searched the forum, since I know this is a frequently occurring problem, but I...

Linked excel chart only showing partially.

Hi, I have a form with an excel chart linked to it. The chart, however, does not look good on the access form. It does not seem to be able to show the part of the chart which is below 0 on the x-axis. Has anybody had this problem? If not, is there another way I should go about this? I import...

    a variable as where condition?

Thanks for the reply! 3075 - syntax error(missing operator) in query expression is indeed the message I get. I might have made a misstake with the datatypes. "loppdatum" is indeed a date. I´m not at work right now so I´ll have to check it out later. I'll let you know how it works out...

    Ranking within a gruop.

Thanks for the reply! I asked a really stupid question. Sorry. What I meant was that the data looks like this: 1/1/44 1/2/13 1/3/25 2/1/22 2/2/55 2/3/11 etc So, what I want is (extra column for ranking) 1/1/44/1 1/2/13/3 1/3/25/2 2/1/22/2 2/2/55/1 2/3/11/3 Actually there are 6...
