sorry This may not be what you want to hear... but i have been using XP and the docmd.maximize works fine for me. Thus there is something at your end. Instead of writing it in the property, code it in the VB code view. not sure if that is what you were doing.. sorry again perturbed :(

i am currently using \*&"@"&\* as an input mask for an email address and this doesn't work properly. it appears as *_@_* thus you can only enter 2 charas and the '*' remain in the field. I REALLY NEED THIS please help! :confused:

I go into the references for the DB i created, under the code view, and try to check the microsoft DAO 3.6 thing so that my code will work properly! it then says that there are naming problems and will not stay ticked! THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM! y is it doing this when it didn't when it was on...
