need a proper input mask

i am currently using

\*&"@"&\*

as an input mask for an email address and this doesn't work properly.

it appears as *_@_*

thus you can only enter 2 charas and the '*' remain in the field.

I REALLY NEED THIS

This will work right in the table.

Like "*@*.*"

Place it in the Validation rule for the field. Place text to clear inform the user in Validation Text (like Please enter a valid email address)
