    Using FIND input box for multiple records

    I know......this program was designed a while ago by someone who's long gone. The people using the program are well.....kind of set in their ways. I'm just trying to keep things as they were.....for now. Thanks

    Using FIND input box for multiple records

    We recently upgraded from A97 to A2003. We often use the FIND function (ctrl-F) on an open form to search for a particular record. Sometimes there are more than one record that meets a particular criteria (like a customer number). In A97, using the NEXT button would bring up the records one...

    Database Update

    Brian....you shared this code with me on another post and I've been trying to get it to work on our database. I know just enough code to be "dangerous" so a lot of things aren't readily obvious to me. I've been playing around with it for a day or so and I can't seem to get it. Can you assist...

    docmd.copyobject = runtime error 2501

    Jeez, I just thought of something else that I wanted to ask. The database is rather dynamic, meaning that I'm constantly doing little revisions to forms, queries etc. Having a separate copy on each PC is a real pain because I have to go to each PC and paste a revised front end on every revision...

    docmd.copyobject = runtime error 2501

    Thanks for the replies and advice. In the meantime, I kinda figured out some of this. The databases are already set up as front end and back end so I didn't have to reconfigure anything. I guess I assumed that Access 2003 would act like 97 (but you know what assuming gets you!). I did run into a...

    docmd.copyobject = runtime error 2501

    We recently upgraded from Access 97 to 2000. I found this post (pasted below) from last year that descibes the exact problem that we are having. No replies were posted so.....I'm hoping that resubmitting the question might bring an answer. Thanks! Peter Hi, My application uses a standard...

    Access conversion 97 to 2002

    I've looked through the posts relating to this but didn't find a specific reference so....at the risk of being redundent.... I'm converting an A97 database to 2002. I've complied the modules and the database and no errors or problems are evident but.....I am receiving the error "cannot find the...

    Report based on dates missing in a table

    Danke HTH..what a great suggestion! I tried it and my version of Access comes out as a USA date (37942=11/17/03). You've been a great help....all I can say is ......haben sie einen groben tag!

    Report based on dates missing in a table

    HTH I may have thought that creating the comparision tables was a bigger deal than it is. All I have to do is remember the rhyme "30 days has September, April, June......) and create each monthly table. The days of the week don't matter, only the dates. One table for each month (each would be...

    Report based on dates missing in a table

    thanks for the reply HTH....your idea would work but might cause me to make monthly tables for years to come to compare the data to. I wonder if there's another solution.....

    Report based on dates missing in a table

    I hope I can explain this clearly.....just need a little help on this. We have a input form that writes a date to a table for each day that a truck driver turns in his paperwork (actually a "drivers log" for those familiar with trucking). What I want to do is make a report based on the dates...
