The 'free' Windows 7 upgrade from HP...

Nope, don't have one. The 'free' upgrade contains the software and the license.

The 'free' Windows 7 upgrade from HP...

Does anyone know if there is a way of paying the £22 'administration and P&P' charge without having a credit card? I've been excitidly waiting for payday so I could order my upgrade and now I've been hit with this! Argh! I'm really unhappy...I feel I've been totally mis-sold a laptop with 'free'...

Highlighting the differences between 2 speadsheets.

Oh yes, hindsight is a wonderful thing! I'm not sure what I was thinking when I cut it down so much...... :(

Highlighting the differences between 2 speadsheets.

I have several spreadsheets that contain the data for my database. The data needed cleansing so it was sent out to the relevant people to do this. Stupidly I thought the spreadsheets would track the changes for me but have since realised that because they were emailed out and back this didn't...

Autonumbering a document as it prints.

I've just created an Excel document with the numbers in and then mailmerged. So I now have a 300 page document.... oh well.

Autonumbering a document as it prints.

I have an entry form. I need to print off 300 copies with each one having a unique number. Apart from this they will be exactly the same. Is there I can do this without a hell of a lot of manual work(i.e. creating a 300 page document or changing it and printing it 300 times)?

Missing reference problem with older version of Office

I think it might be having a problem with the RTF format that I have put into the code to export reports to Word...

Missing reference problem with older version of Office

I have developed my DB in Access 2007, it links to Word 11. When I just try to open the DB on another machine which has an earlier version of Word I get an error message; something about Missing reference, 'MSWORD.OLB' version 8.3. When I look at the references on my machine there are none...

Question I have a Front End and a Back End, should I have an original? Why can't I edit?

Ho Hum. Oh well. I have a few backups that just need some work - it's not so bad at least...I hope. I can still present my FE to my manager and then recreate it afterwards. It is indeed lesson learned and I'll be careful when taking advice from random websites again.....

Question I have a Front End and a Back End, should I have an original? Why can't I edit?

Well....yes, and to accdr, and back....just by changing the file extension - maybe I have corrupted the file?

Question I have a Front End and a Back End, should I have an original? Why can't I edit?

Hmm....the copy option is also not available....the only options available when I right click on a form in the navigation pane are; 'open', 'hide in this group' and 'properties'. And I've just found out that I can't roll back my files as the tape has been used(they only keep a weeks worth).

Question I have a Front End and a Back End, should I have an original? Why can't I edit?

The option is 'ghosted' out when I right click on a form in the navigation pane. If I open the form and right click I just get the form view option which is already chosen, close and close all. The Save option is blanked out but that's possibly because I've not changed anything.

Question I have a Front End and a Back End, should I have an original? Why can't I edit?

I do agree. I think the developers of Access 2007 would be rather stupid to make this the case. And surely there should be a rather large warning to this effect when using the Splitter tool... Is anyone able to confirm whether this is the case or not as if I'm going to roll back my files I need...

Question I have a Front End and a Back End, should I have an original? Why can't I edit?

The FE is storing the forms. The BE just has the tables in. The trouble is I did make a backup copy but have now lost it....I'm guessing I could roll back the folder to the day before I split the DB...one of the good things about being on a server!

Date missing when using a runtime version of my Database

As I said it works on every other computer I've tried - it's just this one. I now have the problem that i'm unable to get back into my form to edit it.....I can't open it in Design View(see my other post:http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=179659 )

Question I have a Front End and a Back End, should I have an original? Why can't I edit?

I'm getting this horrible feeling that it is something I have changed in the properties of all of my forms for security.....don't know what though! Surely it would still at least let me see the properties if this was the case....
