So, how can I get them to now populate into a separate table? I don't want current/former employees on one form. I would like for them to get kicked out of the "Current" and dumped into a "Former." Make sense? Please excuse me.

Anthony, How does it know which two text boxes to pull from? Do I have to create specific text boxes? I currently have three text boxes. One with the address, another with just the city, and the other with the province.

    Database on network

So, I've just completed a successful split. I have the original file, the BE file, and the FE file. Which file should we be using now? Is the original file considered the master file?

    Database on network

Okay...I'm about to ask a really stupid question...please excuse me. So, the reason for the splitting is to prevent the doubling of the file size or is this also a protection of data remedy?

So are you saying a compact should suffice Simon? Splitting the database sounds scary to me.

    Field List

I've updated my table with a new field name. The data type is in the same format as the others (just what I want). I then updated my form and added the new field name via the field list. In my table, I've set the default value to "0", but it's not showing up on the form. What am I missing?
