    Table Structure

Ok, I am stumped. I am developing a system where it can track prices for natural gas locations. Each employee is assigned a location to enter in prices (up to 5 locations per employee), once a location is assigned, no one else can be assigned that location. Here are my tables right now...

    Day Before Price

I have a query where I am looking to get the price from the day before. Here is what I have so far: SELECT [tblPrice].[PriceID], [tblPrice].[LocationID], [tblPrice].[Price], [tblPrice].[ChangeinPrice], [tblPrice].[priceDate], DateAdd("d",-1,[PriceDate]) AS DayBefore FROM tblPrice; The...

    Query by last name

This is probably an easy one. I just need to have a query sorted by the first letter of the last name. So if a text box has an "A" in it, the query would just show every last name that starts with "A".

    Winfax

I have a client who e-mails confirmations to clients at the end of each day. The confirms are printed in Access from a report based on a query, and added to the Winfax queue, where they fax all of them out at the end of the day. Nothing has ever gone wrong, but today Winfax sent out 576 confirms...

    Duplicate Autonumber

My system is split up into front end and back end. We had a problem today where the system seemed to have duplicated a few ID numbers. It is an autonumber field, and it shouldn't be happening. We dont really use it for anything, but it scares me to see 2 of the same ID number in an autonumber...

    E-Mailing

I have seen a lot of information on looping through a table and sending out e-mail to each contact. Is it possible to just have every e-mail address at the same time come up in the bcc area, instead of looping?

Linking front end and back end

IS there a way through VBA that you can get the front end of a plit database to look through possible locations for the back end and ,if it sees it there, to connect the links? My client cant figure out how to use the Linked Table Manager. Thanks.

    Access Crashing

I have a client who is upset because the database crashes several times a week. It says that the system needs to be compacted and repaired. Normally, when I get the system sent back to me after something like this, I notice in the query list is the name of a form with something like this as a...

    DLookup for the Previous Record

I posted this earlier at the bottom of a thread, so I thought I'd ask again. I have an unbound text field in the tblInventoryTransactions, I need to create a DLookup to find the value of the previous record for BuyerTotal. Any ideas?

    DLookup

I am trying to look up an exchange rate from my table called tblExchange when the ExchangeDate matches the TransactionDate on my report or form. But I cannot seem to get it to work. What is the proper code of the DLookup, so I can compare to what I have? Thanks.
