    This seems to be a frequent issue. And I think I have looked at too many posts, and now and have totaly confused myself. That is not I big challenge. Anyway I am trying to build a Data sheet form with a running total field. Like so... ID Date a - b Total...

    Tab Control & Click event

    Thanks for the input. I found that the "on enter" event of the sub form control in my various tab pages did the trick. After frustration peaks working whacky code is better than broken elegant code. :D

    I have seen this problem posted a few times but the thread always seems to deadend. The Tab control click event does not respond. I am using Access 97 and have duplicated this in as simple a test as possible. Set up a form, toss a tab control on board, configure it for 2 tabs, put a Msgbox...
