    Hello, I have an excel sheet with several duplicate values based on a member id field. I want to import this in access then create additional fields to hold the duplicate information. I've tried using Make Table query, append query..no luck yet. Is vba coding a better way? Thanks!

    Sorting Dimmed

    Thanks! That worked! But why does the report ignore the sort defined in the query? Has that always been that way? And, the Sort options on the Home tab when I'm in design view of the report, are still dimmed. What does the Sort/Grouping on the Home tab refer too?
