It's simply =Sum([Est Type 0])/[Sum([OpenCases]) since you already have the textboxes with those calculations on the report it's simply a matter of identifying them I.e. add another unbound textbox on the report and set its control source to =[Textbox1]/[Textbox3] substitute the textbox names...

No he didn't, he merely made the point that troops etc. in the past suffered the same traumas and weren't able to or even given to sue for compensation. Nobody's saying that our armed forces don't face dangers etc.etc. but then why would one enlist? To sit in the barracks in comfort perhaps;)
