I thought it will be faster to re install Access but even after an uninstall / registry clean / reboot / reinstall I still cant open an .accdb from the Explorer. So now I got a message in a windows forum and I'm curious to see what the problem is

I have tried reboot. The command gives me accdb=Access Application.14 I dont know what the 14 means but at least we get "Access". I think the best will be to uninstall / reinstall Access and hopefully will fix up the registry where I think the problem exist. I will do that on the weekend

Good point but I only have Access2010 + Office 2002(no Access) + Office 2013(no Access). In any case all was ok until a few days back, I will click an.accdb file in Explorer and Access2010 will fire-up. Not anymore

Thanks MarkK for your time, prehaps there is no change between the 2 regarding coding however there is a big change regarding GUI. The article refers to go to the start-up options dialog box to fill in the information and I cant find anything similar in 2010 Access.
