    I can't be that hard!!!!!

Well, I tried the first solution that Aroma KT suggested and it failed because ,once again, it would not let me choose any format. However, after playing with the syntax of the second solution (Spanish MS products have small differences - they like to make it hard!) it came up trumps and I now...

    I can't be that hard!!!!!

I live and work in Spain and so the regional setting is already set to euros. I find it strange that if I leave A, B and C without euro format, why does Access not allow me later to choose a format for these numbers when I am making a report on them......?

    Currency Format

I tried this and, alas, in my format line it won't give me any options to choose from. Is this a bug from office 2003 or is it me? In 11 columns of numbers only 3 don't allow any format whatsoever.

    decimal places in table design

My problems seem to be about the most silly things.... I have a table with various columns containing information in euros. For some reason it will not let me use cents because it always rounds them up or down to the nearest euro. I have gone into table design and changed the decimal places...

    Currency Format

Hi, I have several tables with information about euros, a query relating to the tables and a report based on the query. Originally, to avoid problems, I produced all the information in numbers (without format) and later, in the report, went to the properties section and changed the format to...

    a quickie

I'm not sure I've been understood.... I have a table with various columns, all in the format of euros. When I create a query in which, for example, I add two columnss together, the resulting field appears simply as a number and not in euros. Is there an area in queries where you can select the...

    going fruity

Thanks very much for that advice, I've done what I think you wanted me to and it works for now. The only other question I have is that in the Nz function, rather than "0", I want "0,00€" to appear in empty cells but don't know how to do this ( Nz([YearTotal];0,00€) just gives me syntax errors...

I have one table with a list of 10 types of fruit. Another table details all the invoices throughout the year for these fruits. I also have 2 queries: Query 1 is an overall summary of the types of fruit with their respective profits gained over the period of a year. Query 2 is the same but for...

    The order of a report

Hi, Not being any kind of expert, I have created a report using the Wizard and later have spent a while making changes to the layout which actually took quite a while for one reason or another. I am now aware that the information which appears in the printed report is ordered alphabetically...

    A simple case of addition

I have a form which contains a subform. The subform has several columns of which one is "Expenses" and a box "SumExpenses" which keeps a running total in euros of this column. My main form contains a box "Total Expenses" which references this running total. The main form also contains a box...

    Updating a relationship

Well, in Table (1) I'd have Project Name (Primary Key), Town Name, Services and Value. In table (2) I'd just have Town Name (PK). If I change a town name in table (2) from, let's say Bristol to Malaga, I want table (1) to change all it's Bristol entries to Malaga as well (that is possible isn't...
