Not sure I understand your question. Do you mean you want a report that is sorted by person? For each person you want count, sum etc? If so, using the report wizard should help you do this very quickly.

In the underlying query, do you have more criteria than just the company name? If so, this is why you are getting a record for each vacancy the company has. Only use the company name from the vacancy table, then group. You should only get one record for each company no matter how many vacancies.
