    List Box format question

Hi everyone: I have an unbound listbox whose row source is a query. The listbox displays receipt info for orders. Each order could have more than one receipt. Order Receipt No 100 1 100 2 100 3 The list box works how it should...

    Need Null results returned also

Scott: A little more info please. Are you using one table in your query or more than one? If an account doesn't have an order placed, what criteria do you need to pull that information? Does that mean it doesn't have an ETA? Scott: Just thought of this - try putting this in the criteria row of...

    Report

Not sure I understand your question. Do you mean you want a report that is sorted by person? For each person you want count, sum etc? If so, using the report wizard should help you do this very quickly.

    Report Criteria Help

Matt: Ok. I have to admit you were right about the table. Should have known that, but sometimes helps to get a "knock, knock puddin' head". This is what I ended up with: Dim stDocName As String Dim varCriteria As String If Combo2 = "" Then stDocName = "rptLiquidBacklog" varCriteria =...

Hi Matt: Thanks for hanging with me. I am having no luck, however. I have been playing around with this but no success. You were right that the paintno field is text. Here is what I have (note I added a bracket and changed the end & part because I was getting a compile error). varCriteria =...

    Report Criteria Help

Hi All, I have tried to find help on this with no luck. I have a form that prompts a user for criteria, then runs a report (based on a set of queries), dependent upon the user's entry. More specifically the form gives the user the option of choosing "Yes - include all paint numbers" or "No -...

    Calculations for Unbound Textboxes

Thanks Rich. Before you replied, I went into the underlying query and created a field with a nested IIF statement to use instead of the unbound control in the detail section of the report. Then on the report, because I now had a control with a control source, I was able to sum the control in...

    Calculations for Unbound Textboxes

Rich: Apparently I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning and need you to please spell things out for me. For the calculated expression, do I need to put that in a control or in the footer section under the onformat event? Also, not quite sure how the hidden unbound control ties in. I...

    Calculations for Unbound Textboxes

Rich: Thanks for your reply. If you look at the code again, you'll see the calculation is dependent upon what type of operation is being used. Any other ideas?

    Destroying Variables

Quick question: When is it necessary to destroy variables? Are public and private variables treated the same? I am using Access 2000. (I may have inadvertently posted this twice). Thanks for any help.

    Please Help Me!!!!!

In the underlying query, do you have more criteria than just the company name? If so, this is why you are getting a record for each vacancy the company has. Only use the company name from the vacancy table, then group. You should only get one record for each company no matter how many vacancies.
