hey watsup everyone. my friend has a very large database of contacts and serial numbers, 10,000 + and counting. basically what i need is a vb applet or any sort of form or module that can preform a search and a copy function. i really have no clue where to begin as i just introduced myself to muicrosoft access yesterday. i found two relavent posta, with sample forms of search boxes. i will repost them here for anyone to see. what i need is a text box, that when i enter a few digits or letters, will go and fetch any word or part of a data entry that has that inside of it, and than if possible i need it to copy the whole line where the matching characters were found into a new table. here are the files...

i am a hard worker and im not asking for someone to write this code, but than again im very new to this so any help would be appreciated. thanx
