Hi guys,

Basically iam working with the records of our employees aroung 20K+. I i designed a form but i don't know how to execute it. please find it on my attachment. most likely the records will come on a batch and i need to do some massive vlook up and pivot table in excel that hangs most of the time. By the way im a new user of access and starting to learn on it. please help me guys. the idea is like this i will get the passport no from an excel sheet and then i would like to paste it at once in to a search form then the search form will show those passport no that i paste.

Import the excel sheet to a work table. Only these names are in it.

Run a query that updates the 1 person (or all) to yes.
You can dbl-click 1 name in the list to run the query that changes it.

When done, run a query to add the names to the main table.

Yes its certainly possible and in fact is the correct approach as end users should never have direct access to tables or queries
You still need to import your Excel file to an Access table (import NOT copy and paste)
Both the form and subform will use that table or a query based on it as their record source.
For an example search form see http://allenbrowne.com/ser-62.html
Another example of a form used to select records based on multiple filters http://www.mendipdatasystems.co.uk/multiple-group-filter/4594454290
