0 as a first number problem.

Is there a way to make it so that access will accept 0 as a first number in a number field. What's happening is that when I try to enter say 0123, the 0 gets cut leaving me with 123. This is not really acceptable and while I can make the field a string, i'd rather find a difference solution if there is one.

I suppose you could do a fuction to append leading '0's to a string...

I just seed the pk to 10000 or so to get uniform looking numbers...
