RE 10 commandment When i want to update my working data base from the prototype How do i do thisI will ned to get rid of pracise data and then somehow save it to my working dtabase without loosing the existing working data
I Think there must be an easy way of doing this

First off it needs to be split. Backend has only tables. The frontend has everything else. So, if you have a well designed table structure you should very RARELY need to touch anything in the backend. You would then do your fixes and such in the frontend and redistribute. I have a tool that enables auto updating of the frontends (see My Access Tools on my site - site is in signature) and you would just have to change the version numbers and it would replace theirs with the latest.

That is, if you are talking about a single company on a single LAN.

Thanks Bob
I only use it on my computer .do i really have seperate it.it sounds quite difficult is there not an easier way y
