1)how do i make it so my form is 1024x768 to fit my screen?

2)i need to put a bunch of check boxes on the form to select what type of claim it is, i.e. if its type 123456or7 do i have to create a new field for all 7 options and select entry type Yes No or is there a way to make the field 'claim type' and then they select either 123456or7?

thanks in adv

Do you want your form to cover everything (taskbar etc.)? If so, see attached. To maximize the form to fill the Access window add the following code in the 'On Open' event of the form...
Code:
Private Sub Form_Open(Cancel As Integer)

DoCmd.Maximize

End Sub

no i just want it to fit the window, want to see bar at bottom and have the regular bar at top with minimise restore and close options (you know the one, title bar is it?)

i am behind a super strict firewall at work - i cant download that zip file :/

it want it like a normal window, with the Task bar at the bottom still and with the title bar at the top with Minimise restore and close options, ya know?

In the Forms properties set PopUp = Yes and in the Forms On Open event put this code
Code:
DoCmd.Maximize

IMO

That'll cover the entire Access window, drag the form to the size you want and save it. Turn off the Auto Resize
