2 query questions

hi everyone, im stuck with a query, what do i need to enter in the query to only show one record for an item that say has 3 entries ( for instance paul has visited the surgery 3 times but you only want him to appear once not 3 times)
and:
what do i enter to display how many records are displayed on the report

also how do i work out the average age of the entries to be entered on the query and displayed on the report, thanks.

theres an entry with the ages of clients. How do i display the age of clients as well as the average age of the clients?

yes but i need to display the age and the average age on a report and it wont let me have the age field added to the query twice
