No Jet does not. But I think that SQL Server does.
Is it possible to create pseudo 3-d table ? Maybe combining in query ? I am just thinking ...
Reason why I am asking that there is a task where in first table the names of the columns are the items used in repair, values in rows for these columns are quantities. The second table has the purchase rates for these item but now they are arranged in 2 columns ( [itemID], [Itemrate].
Users used to have the excell version for calculation and storage. I was asked to tweak access to preserve the appearence in the form not to scare off the users. :):)

Hi Alexei

What, exactly are you trying to do? I can see no real prob here except that you may be better off to re structure your speadsheet for a tables in Access.
Or do you need to leave them in Excell for some reason?

Pete
