I am working on a military network which contains both the pureedge viewer and ApproveIt software. My database tracks various reading files that many users will access and read. I am trying to create a form which the user can go to and digitally sign a record document once he's read the file, and have that record document be saved automatically in a folder so it may be accessed later if needed. I must use the ApproveIt digital signature software to apply the signature, although the signature record document can be in excel, word, or pure edge format. Any ideas how to even approach this without the project getting too crazy? or is anyone familiar with the ApproveIt software, and how to apply it in such a case?

since you are wanting to work with third party software, I would recommend checking with the ApproveIt digital signature software support. The will be the most knowledgeable about how their software works. They may have an Software Developer's Kit (SDK) for their software. I would think that with something like this, you will have to go through the vendor. Only a guess here since i do not know anything about how it work, but I would think that if any VBA code could control it, it might not not be very secure.
