Graphic 1 is an example of my order details form, with some calculation totals attached... as you can see it's quite chunky.

Where as I prefer graphic 2 which shows it without the totals...

is there a way where I can keep the layout of graphic 2 and have an option to view totals for that one record. Like a down arrow which presses to reveal the totals, and moves the rest of the form up or down a bit to make room for it??

Any ideas??

You are right the second example looks more professional. As far as I know there is no way to do that without having two forms and hiding one or the other based on the key pressed. Using multi record forms is always a little confusing. You might look at the North Wind data base example. It is very close to what you have. Consider including the totals on the same line of a subform. The user could scroll to the right to see them if they like. I assume they are calulated fields. Are the line item numbers nessary fro the user to see?
