I have a search function set up so that user can select a data range and any of the available criteria to show results in a subform. These results can be printed. however my problem lies with visa criteria. When ever the visa is selected is shows the results in the subform but doesnt like being view in report form.

All the all criterias are fine in the report form except when visa is part of the criteria search. I've buggered as why its doesnt work.

To see what I mean, select the date and then select a visa type then press the print button. yep! thats right nothing happens but u select a different criteria is works fine.

Im getting desperate becuase I can for the life of me see what the problem is. Maybe a fresh pair eyes with fine the problem.

see attached.

In the cmdPreviewReport_Click event handler try changing this: -

sCriteria = sCriteria & " AND qrySearchCriteriaSub.Visa = """ & Visa & """"

to this: -

sCriteria = sCriteria & " AND qrySearchCriteriaSub.Visa = " & Visa

Hope that helps

Regards
Chris

Damm Right Soundsfishy,

Needed a beer @ lunch to warm up !!!

Louchey

Beer at lunch . . . Now there's an idea :)

soundsfishy, glad it worked.

13 – 22 deg. C

That's if you happen to live in a small white box, louvred on all sides, one metre above a grass surface at Brisbane Airport. (Not such a big population really.)

Everywhere else just seems bloody cold.

Sounds alright to me though.

How much does a small white box, louvred on all sides, one metre above a grass surface at Brisbane Airport go for these days?

Probably not all that much simply because there are a few drawbacks…

Air traffic noise. (Have you seen the movie "The Castle"?)
Air traffic controllers leaving work late at night after their usual booze parties. (Only joking…)
Department of Meteorology taking your temperature twice a day. (Hmmm… :o )

Microwave Jenny???

Perhaps I could put some big flash gates on my "small white box" apartment.

Might just stay where I am though, cos at the moment I live only 1 hour from Bonnie Doon - Ah the serenity.

:D

:D

Being serious for a moment… may I suggest something?

We Aussies may be taking this out of the intention of this particular Forum???

Perhaps "The Watercooler" might be a better place for all that might follow???

I'm as bad as everyone else at this so maybe someone else would like to give it a fresh start in that Forum.

"Microwave Jenny"??? That title sounds good enough to me.
