A load of Carp?

Benson, the largest female carp in England, died last week. She was 25 years old and weighed 60 lb!

The cause of death is uncertain, but it appears she may have suffered from food poisoning caused by an inexperienced anglers bait.

After a life time of service as the "one that got away" anglers are saying she will be sadly missed.

FOOD POISONING? Well that is such a shame but that is what happens when you leave such things up to an apprentice or journeyman baiter when obviously for such an important carp it requires a Master Baiter.

On the contrary - I feel that the ladies can do it as good as the gentlemen can... sometimes even better... though that is only my opinion... I have jet to see all of the guide books but I have been informed there are some instructional and inspirational videos online
