I found that a new table by name 'Name Autocorrect Failures' is appearinbg in my Objects window. I did not create this table. On opening the table, it gives infor as under
Object name - Form2
Object type - Form
Failure reason - could not open
Time
What is this? Is it anything todo with failure to open my form?

Sounds like you tried to do an autocorrect and it failed. Rather than silently screw up your database, Access makes "notes" of what didn't work right.

Look up Autocorrect in Access Help to see more about this feature, which is doing its best to tell you that something is/was wrong. Sort of like the old LASSIE TV series, you have to follow the barking dog to figure out the problem.

Rich, I remember when June Lockhart was the mother in that TV series - and she was still young enough to really look good!

Yup, remember that one, too. But didn't care for it. It was a rip of "Francis the Talking Mule" - which was DUMB. Was it ... Gig Young as Wilbur? Or someone else.

I would Google it if I cared enough to want to know.

Guys, I remember Dragnet in black and white with the actor Ben Alexander portraying Joe Friday's sidekick. LONG before Harry Morgan as Bill Gannon. And I remember Broderick Crawford in "Highway Patrol." How he was still a patrol officer with THAT paunch, I'll never know.

But then, I even remember lusting after Annette Funicello when she was approximately pubescent on Mickey Mouse Club. (She was SLIGHTLY ahead of me in age, maybe a year or two tops...)

Now you've started it. Much like Francis and Mr. Ed, you put a little peanut butter in Doc's mouth and he'll appear to talk and talk and talk...

If you'll excuse me, I'm heading down to Petticoat Junction to pick up some things and Mr. Drucker's general store. And I'll say hi to Eb.

;)
